| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 11, 2009 Pours hazy orange with a nice just off white head that dissapates. Nice Aroma of citrus, grass and pine. Taste is the same but less hop bite and citrus/pine as the aroma would have you think. More of a malt backbone. Good, but a bit more of the hops in the flavor and this would have been great. cblado (150), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Aug 6, 2009 12 oz bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with a thick, creamy head. I was very surprised by the head on this...wow. Aroma was mostly a crisp hops, flavor was citrus and grapefruit, with a malty body. It felt a bit thin, but not unpleasant. Overall I enjoyed this immensely. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA

I think I actually prefer this to Bell’s Two Hearted Ale, but I’m not sure...I go back and forth. They are both great IPA’s, to be sure. The appearance is wonderfully hazy, with beautiful, unfiltered floaters dispersed evenly throughout the glass. Aroma is grassy and citrusy. Very nice balance of hops and malt. Full of flavor, very refreshing. This is a very nice beer.
