Intense pine and grapefruit citrus aroma. Strong bittering hops of oranges, grapefruit and Lysol. Medium thick palate absorbs these with a mellowing syrupy sweetness of the malt. Enjoyable.

Aroma of pine and citrus hops with a little sweet malt. Flavor is pure citrus hops with a subdued malt backbone, long dry finish. A great IPA for sure. tekhna (118), California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2009 A beautiful beer, fantastic nose and a great lingering head. A tad overcarbed to my tongue. The taste is lacking something. I’m not sure what it is. Maybe it’s the balance of mouthfeel and bitterness that leaves it seeming harsh? darn1207 (603), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Bottle. Hazy copper with a giant foamy head. Citrus and pine aroma. Beautifully balanced flavor with dominant piny hops against a not-too-sweet malt backbone. Hops contribute heavily to the flavor and aroma rather than just a lingering bitterness. Medium bodied and full of flavor, but tremendously drinkable. A damn good IPA. I always make a point of stocking up whenever I’m in Michigan. Largiari (10), Millis, Massachusetts, USA

Great hop flavor with plenty of citrus notes, orange peel and lemon. Leaves your mouth watering aftre each sip. Killer IPA. Capa (993), Yokosuka, Japan
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 12, 2009 Hazy copper with a rocky tan head. Fruity hops, citrus, sweet malts in the nose. Medium bodied. Lemony hops with grapefruit, and pine, as well. Very light maltiness to it. Bitter, dry finish. A very nice IPA. jodah52 (66), Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 11, 2009 Deep gold, white head. Dry, crisp mouthfeel with vigorous carbonation. Slight flavor of malt is almost overpowered by hop character and bitterness; this is great for hopheads, well-devised and balanced, though strong, bitterness. A good IPA.
