Commercial Description:
It’s not as heavy bodied and malty as many IPA’s, in contrast the palate is more crisp and dry. If you consider yourself a "hop-head" you owe it to yourself to grab this beer.

bottle - mild spicy aroma, light gold pour with frothy white head. moderate hop bite, but not a lot of flavor. very thin mouthfeel. while it’s true to it’s description - not has heavy bodied and malty (which is fine by me) - the flavors just don’t meld into an enjoyable lighter bodied IPA (such as a Big Daddy IPA)

Bottle from Ludlow Wines. Pours a clear amber color with some sediments. Pine hops on the nose along with caramel, grass and floral notes, orange citrus, and caramel. The flavor follows suit well, with some malty notes. Light bodied, with some alcohol notes coming through as it warms. Crisp, easy to drink, and a good bitterness from the piney hops. Really nice, straightforward IPA.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Hazy coppery amber body with three fingers of off white head. My nose must be shot, because I never seem to give any brew much of a score in the aroma dept, tbut htis one really stnads out. Complex aromas of aromatic hops, citrus, and pine play out against a malty background. Flavor is rich an complex, echoing the aroma. Not over-the-top with hoppiness but certainly not lacking in that dept. Offers a complex flavor that is very well balnace - aromotic and spicy hops with a solid malt backbone. LIvely carbonation and a satisfying palate. Good stuff!

12 oz vessel, compliments of Steve. Pours hazy, light amber orange. Aroma immediately evident of resins, grapefruits and fresh ocean water. Flavour was abundant tropical fruits balanced with pine bitterness with a lovely malty backbone. Tremendous beer.

Purchased in WI in bottle form. Aroma is of fresh hops, and it tastes like it smells but not overpowering, very refreshing. People in the reviews are saying it’s piney, and I pretty much agree.

From a bottle. Aroma is just the right amount of pine with a touch of lemon. Appearance is golden orange with whitish tan head. Not quite as hoppy as I had hoped, but the bitterness lingers. Not exactly what I expect from IPAs. Might have been past it’s prime. Overall, I was disappointed with the taste, but the aroma was deceptively inviting.

In the bottle. Thanks to KJ for the beer. Pours copper amber with a thick off white head. Intense pine and grapefruit citrus aroma. Strong bittering hops of oranges, grapefruit and Lysol. Medium thick palate absorbs these with a mellowing syrupy sweetness of the malt. Enjoyable.

Cask @ Chelsea’s Brewing Co. in NYC this past weekend. It pours a hazy orange body with nice white lacing. The aroma is citrus and pine hop. The flavor is pretty crisp and hoppy - but nothing over the top.
