| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2009 A beautiful beer, fantastic nose and a great lingering head. A tad overcarbed to my tongue. The taste is lacking something. I’m not sure what it is. Maybe it’s the balance of mouthfeel and bitterness that leaves it seeming harsh? darn1207 (665), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Bottle. Hazy copper with a giant foamy head. Citrus and pine aroma. Beautifully balanced flavor with dominant piny hops against a not-too-sweet malt backbone. Hops contribute heavily to the flavor and aroma rather than just a lingering bitterness. Medium bodied and full of flavor, but tremendously drinkable. A damn good IPA. I always make a point of stocking up whenever I’m in Michigan. Largiari (10), Millis, Massachusetts, USA
