MAP (1085), Lakewood, Ohio, USA Oct 27, 2009 12 Oz bottle purchased at Tiffany’s in K-zoo many moons ago. Pour is a dark reddish brown with a thin cream head. Aroma if full of hops, caramel, graprfruit and spice... this reminds me of a certain stone offering, but even bigger. The flavor here is so rewarding, it has all the warming earthy flavors that come to the tongue, but in such a viscous and cloying manner. It has a considerable bite, but manages to not seem so bitter, probably due tot he immense amount of flavor that comes out with it. I’m rather impressed with the flavor of this, since it manages to balance all the aspects throughout the palate, the flavor and even the aftertaste, its just well adjusted. MereLikesBeer (153), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA Oct 25, 2009 On Tap at MBG Harvest Fest 09. I couldn’t decide on what to get, so I said "surprise me"...a nice surprise indeed. It was a nice light amber color with white head. Hops and citrus (orange) dominate the flavor, maybe even a bit of malt in there as well. Quite tasty. ericandersnavy (1038), crossroads, Texas, USA Sep 29, 2009 bottle thanks to thirdeye11. poured a hazy amber with a white head and some spotted lace. aroma was caramel, pine, and orange with the flavor matching the nose. body was full. Fratto (662), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 23, 2009 Thanks thirdeye11. A lot to talk about here. Hops, honey, alcohol, fruit. Easy going despite the alcohol. marcus (1821), Sacramento, California, USA Sep 21, 2009 Bottle at Map Room. This copper ale poured with a thick beige head and a very fragrant flowery aroma. There is a hearty malt flavor with nice balancing bop bitterness and a long dry finish. The alcohol is quite well-masked. Cavie (1289), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Sep 13, 2009 Bottle courtesy of thirdeye11. Clear light orange. Aroma of short hops with an aged feeling of fruit. Taste is fantastic with aged tastes and easy drinking alcohol. Thanks Old Man in the Rye. awiseman01 (316), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Sep 11, 2009 Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #59 of 90. Bottle at HopCat in Grand Rapids.
