Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, oat. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20081122]

My least fave of the stout series (1,2,3) I had high expectations since I loved the first two, and it was still very good just not up to par with the other 2 IMO. Aroma of oatmeal, baking chocolate, and roasted nuts. IN the flavor, all of the aforementioned and some toffee, weak coffee, and some carmel.

Poured black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Sweet chocolate and a hint of coffee. Kind of roasted at the finish.
