Mar 28, 2009 My least fave of the stout series (1,2,3) I had high expectations since I loved the first two, and it was still very good just not up to par with the other 2 IMO. Aroma of oatmeal, baking chocolate, and roasted nuts. IN the flavor, all of the aforementioned and some toffee, weak coffee, and some carmel.

Mar 14, 2009 12oz bottle courtesy of bitbucket. Pours a nice black with brown tints and faint tan head that settles down to a small ring around the edge of my glass. Roasty malt nose that has subtle coffee hints with some light sweetness. Nice balance of sweet and roastiness with good body and not to much carbonation. Very drinkable and the 8% is well hidden.

Mar 11, 2009 Bottle. Pours a motor oil dark brown/black with a bubbly cola colored head. Rich roasty oatmeal aroma, very sweet and malty with some more roast coffee notes. Good lacing. Flavor is dry roasty with slight char notes and a sweet chocolatey body. Creamy feel. Nice roast aftertaste.
