| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 14, 2007 Bottle. Cloudy orange-pink body, not much head. Raspberry and mango round out the fruity-sweet nose. The flavor has an authentic, fresh off the vine raspberry flavor. There’s fruit tartness and sweetness as well as that dry, bitter stemminess that you taste on the outside of the berry. Otherwise there are clean pale malts in the background finishing with dry ragweed-like hops. This is a good fruit beer because it’s not so damn sweet like they tend to be. hopscotch (5531), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 13, 2007 Bottle... Hazy golden ale with orange highlights and a small, frothy, white head. Acidic, fruity aroma; raspberry and citrus. Thin, soapy flavor... also tart, tangy and fruity. Lightly pungent, tangy finish. lumberjack (178), Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 3, 2007 Pours amber color, with little aroma other than the raspberries. Flavor is a bit too watery and bland for my taste. Certainly easy to drink, but not a beer I will buy again. murrayswine (101), Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 18, 2007 Well hmmm, kind of a wierd beer.
It pours and resembles a barley wine with a thick haze.
Smells like watermelon, slight tart, and maybe 1 gram of actual hops. Average smell at best.
The taste is like fizzy crystal lite, it lacks character and distinction.
The mouthfeel isnt bad at all, rather thick and creamy and pleasing.
All in all, if you are a Dark Horse fan, try it, but a quality fruit beer this isnt, but I think New Glarus Raspberry tary spoils me. Methinks I shall try another one and pair it with a cham torte dessert. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 11, 2007 Bottle: Light red/amber with a white head. Aroma, raspberries, not much else that I noticed. Flavor, light malts, some bready notes, and the raspberries. It wasn’t bad, but it’s not one of their better beers. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 9, 2007 Pour is murky brownish amber with a thin almost nonesitant off white ehad...smell is lightly fruity with raspberry and grainy...taste is grainy and artificially sweet...definately fruity :/ moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 9, 2007 Light raspberry aroma. Murkly light brown in color with a thin white head. The palate is medium for a fruit beer. Thin raspberry flavor with a weak malt and hop profile. Not such a great brew from a good brewer. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
