This one is just sort of there for me. Nothing really bad; not really good but solid enough that you could drink it. But comapared to your average ale I’m not sure why you’re drinking this ’raspberry’. fidelis83 (729), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 2, 2009 Pours opaque burnt amber with a thin, though fairly long lasting creamy white head. Flavor is raspberry, wheat, straw and planty hops. Flavor is stale raspberry up front, followed by cardboard, hints of wheat and stale grain. Palate is medium to htin body, somewhat chalky and fairly dry all the way through. Not terrible for a lighter fruit beer, but close. JoeMcPhee (5025), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 28, 2009 Pale golden beer with a thick white head. Aroma is loaded with light raspberry and pale malt. Fruity nose with a touch of lighter maltiness. The flavour is kind of flat and a bit underwhelming. Lightly fruity, but it’s not all that compelling. tsetlock (66), Livonia, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 4, 2009 Cloudy copper/amber with no head. Aroma of raspberry, sweet malt and sulfur. Sweet taste of mild raspberry and grains. No aftertaste, light-medium bodied, with a metallic finish as well. Nice on a hot day, mcjay (303), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2009 Pours a cloudy, amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel malts and raspberry. Flavor is caramel malts at first with some raspberry. Slight hop flavor comes out on the finish but not much. TearsforBeers (173), Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 4, 2009 Pours a hazy orange amber with an inch of white head. Aroma is of raspberries and malt. I get sweet malt and raspberry flavors without much hops, but it doesn’t really need hop flavors. The raspberries come through very nicely. The mouthfeel is lovely- very soft and refreshing. Overall, a nice beer. The only problem is that Dark Horse just seems to have the ugliest labels in the beer universe. BVery (550), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA
