Commercial Description:
A light ale made with 100% real raspberries in every batch. The rasberries give this beer a fruity aroma while keeping the beer balanced in taste. The raspberry flavor is not "oversweet" or "overpowering". We believe our beers should be "beer 1st,fruit 2nd".

Bottle. Somewhat faint aroma with hints of fruit. Hazy bronze with soda-like effervescence in the head that disipates nearly as quickly, leaving no head. Raspberry is nearly perfect. Sweetness of fruit but not at all cloying. Carbonation and moderate malt backbone fill in for balance. Really well done and surprisingly underrated.

Drank this last night, so this is from memory and probably won’t be too thorough. From bottle. Pours golden with fluffy white head. Taste was slight raspberry with a sharpness from the carbonation. If I didn’t know what it looked like, you could have told me this was sparkling water and i would have believed you. Not a good ale, and not a good fruit beer.

pours a cloudy amber/rose color with a medium white head. aroma is slightly tart with raspberries and faint spicy hops. flavor has definite raspberry but it is not tart at all...also a touch of hoppiness and earthy malt...altogether a bit bland though. mouthfeel is slightly thin and not nearlly lively enough for the style. finish is brief and more malty than fruity.

pours pinkish amber with a medium creamy head. Aroma is berry and grainy malt. Flavour is also raspberry, though not overpoweringly so. Neither too sweet or too tart. Light malt finish.

Smell of raspberries and it pours a amber color with a medium head. Flavor is grainy with raspberries on the back of the tongue. Decent beer.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of raspberries. Poured amber/brown/slight magenta in color with a small, dense, pinkish head that diminished but lasted as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of small particles throughout. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of raspberries, malts, and grains. Light to medium body. Texture is dry but the dryness fades fast. Average carbonation. Sweet, raspberry and light malt finish.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orangish-red with a small bubbly white head. Fruity aroma, of raspberry juice and a bit of malt and yeast. Taste is juicy and crisp, of raspberries, malt, grass. Lingering juiciness that ends watery. Not great.

Aroma is rather raspberry-ish. Cloudy almost brown and murky from the sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Does have that raspberry background on the initial taste but that is soon overidden by typical ale attributes. Seems to be much higher in the alky than the 4.5% listed here. Tartness is apparent but not the tartness associated with sours, its more like an unsweetened Koolaid drink. Decent carbonation for a hopped beer. Too much hops for a fruit beer and too much hops for a lager lover. Has a medicinal medium length finish.
