The flavor was light and fruity with little to no aftertaste. I believe my namesake would find this beer to be to unrefined for his liking but I enjoyed it. SledgeJr (3003), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 19, 2009 In the bottle. Pours a flocculent amber with unidentifiable chunks floating to the bottom of the glass. Perhaps a seed or two? Perhaps a lump of fungus? Not sure. The aroma has plenty of raspberry fruit flavor, but the flavor is oddly chemical in nature. Fairly weak stuff here. dkachur (2431), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 16, 2009 12 ounce bottle courtesy of alexsdad. Thanks! Pours a hazy pinkish orange. Looks rather offputting, kinda like Bud Chelada. Fortunately that’s where the similarity ends. Medium fizzy and foamy white head with good head retention and lacing. Aroma of mild sweet and tart raspberries with a creamy nearly cheesy note. Nearly like cheesecake. Taste is very similar... mildy tart raspberries with a creamy note. Some light malty notes as well with the faintest bit of toaste. Medium bodied. Good. nwiseman (26), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Drank this last night, so this is from memory and probably won’t be too thorough. From bottle. Pours golden with fluffy white head. Taste was slight raspberry with a sharpness from the carbonation. If I didn’t know what it looked like, you could have told me this was sparkling water and i would have believed you. Not a good ale, and not a good fruit beer. satan165 (613), River Grove, Illinois, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 18, 2009 pours a cloudy amber/rose color with a medium white head. aroma is slightly tart with raspberries and faint spicy hops. flavor has definite raspberry but it is not tart at all...also a touch of hoppiness and earthy malt...altogether a bit bland though. mouthfeel is slightly thin and not nearlly lively enough for the style. finish is brief and more malty than fruity. Aroma is berry and grainy malt.
Flavour is also raspberry, though not overpoweringly so. Neither too sweet or too tart. Light malt finish. iabeerguy (175), Iowa, USA
