Bottle thanks to CaptainCougar. Pours a deep black with small brown head. Nose of dried fruit, coffee and some light chocolate. Flavor has some oxidation, but once you get past that, it is rich with roasted malt, and coffee. Nice mouthfeel with light carbination. Almost has that cool coffee and the end of the shift taste to it. Very nice.

12 ounce bottle. I am really surprised this is a porter! Poured a jet black color with a one finger width brown head. I let this one sit for a bit before smelling it. It smelled of a lot of chocolate, coffee, and suggary malts. The taste was very good with a lot of chocolate and coffee with hints of vanilla and malt. Finished a bit bitter but was overall very drinkable. The only negative thing that I can say about this one is the mouthfeel... it was extremely light. Overall though a very tasty porter!

12oz. This is a porter? Chocolate milk head. Roasty slightly smoky nose. Flavor is rich dark malt, cocolate. Sweetish finish. it tastes really dry, its great to take big gulps but you can realy feel at the back of your tounge.

Black, with khaki and brown 1-2 finger head that settles to a nice foam covering. Roasted coffee, some herbal/vegetal notes; some sweetness, some vanilla, bit of sarsparilla? Very coffee-like. Dark chocolate, espresso, with an herbal hop edge. Almost tastes more like coffee than beer. Low to moderate carbonation, pretty substantial, full, rich mouthfeel. Pretty drinkable, if you’re a coffee-lover.

Pours a motor oil black body with a smallish beige head. Aroma is burnt wood, coffee and light malt. Flavor is smoky wood, big time coffee and some malty sweetness. Medium bodied, smooth texture. Long sticky bitter finish.

Bottle pours out black with nougat colored head that laces nicely. The aroma is roasted, chocolate, nutty, prune, and slightly smoked. The flavor is sweet, milk chocolate, slightly lactic, coffee, vanilla, and some hops to keep it honest. The palate is rich and lively enough to make it a decent beer experience. I’ve had a lot of good Porters lately, but this one seems pretty well structured. I like it.

sampled from bottle: pours a dark opaque black colour with a small tan head. Aroma is enticing full of dark fruits- blackberries, black cherries and dark chocolate. Creamy, lightly carbonated but stern firm mouthfeel. Taste is pleasent, initially hint of sweetness which quickly mellows out into a thick nutty- syrupy taste.
