Taste seemed to have some pale malt in it, light hops, a dry straw-like flavor and not much else. Good color, just a pretty neutral amber-yellow. Bottle conditioned, lightly spicy, grassy aroma. Pretty basic, but still enjoyable during the summer. BBB63 (4283), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 27, 2004 Deep amber hue with large frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of wheat, lemongrass, orange zest, coriander, star anise, and floral hops. The taste is citric and lemony at the start with a yeasty background. Picked up some bitterness and spice tones towards the finish. The monuthfeel is lively and refreshing but does have a dryness about it when done. Overall, a good summer wheat, different than some within it’s genre, refreshing. herbjones (742), Orange, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 13, 2003 Very dark amber/orange. No head. Smell the hops. Citrus & spice. Nice and bitter but maybe a little too much for a summer ale. Wouldn't necesarily count this as a Belgian White but quite tasty. Also a little too much carbonation proc (342), Dearborn, Michigan, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 22, 2003 Pours out with a large, exploding head to a cloudy, dark, golden color in the glass. Aroma is that of clove. Taste is a typical, but tasty wheat with clove, light citrus and a slight, spicy twang present. Nicely done. A good summer beer from a very good (and not appreciated enough) Michigan brewery.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 1, 2003 A cloudy honey color with a medium creamy, non-lasting beige head. Spicey aroma, unusual in a wheat since it is not cloves, more like Allspice and pepper. A peppery taste that finishes dry. A tasty wheat that I think you hav to be in the mood for.
