Fruity nose with apples, some banana and spices. Honey sweetness with a bready backbone, some banana, apple, tangerine fruitiness and a clove spice. Yeasty, as you would expect, and the alcohol only becomes noticable as it warms. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA Oct 19, 2009 hazy gold, only tiny off white bubbles for a head, somewhat lacy. nose of fruit, bread, belgian yeast. flavor of fruit, bread, belgian yeast, touch of hops. medium bodied, light bitter finish. fruit, malt hops, what else do you want? or need? Fruity flavour. light spice. some grassy bitterness. bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA Sep 29, 2009 Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours pale amber with no head. Aroma is rather sugary. Medium plus body with mild carbonation. Flavor is tripel like, but turns rather honey/caramel. Fruit and clove are rather mild. Despite the sweet there is bitter. Also a hint of heat. With a bit of time I could buy bubble gum. Not terrific, but a pretty good beer. satan165 (541), River Grove, Illinois, USA Sep 23, 2009 nose is ultra juicy fruits including a near pinapple note and some spiciness as well that finishes with a hit of booze. body is cloudy even by dark horses standards, looks thick like liquid caramel. flavor is more fruits with huge round juicy center that makes my mouth water. big yeasty finish with good bitterness to boot on the way out. danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA Sep 13, 2009 BPW #26
