Pours a goldeny haze. The aroma is the best part of this beer: the whole nose is filled with the smell of wild flowers, orange zest, honey. Tastes of orange, coriander, honey, sweet malt. Lingers very long on the palate, beginning with flowers and ending with only a malty taste of alcohol.
Overall pretty good tripel, despite the heavy lingering alcohol taste. Rciesla (3634), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Pours a golden orange body with a fluffy white head. Aroma and flavor is hoppy with some notes of belgian spice, the etoh comes through fairly noticeably. Not a huge fan. csbosox (1081), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA

Goldish orange color with a pretty little head. Aroma is a flour slurry, light fruit, flowers, sweet, lightly kilned malt, a touch of lemon, and some clove. Taste is sweet malt, light fruit, readily apparent alcohol, & pepper. Very "big" in the mouth, even into the finish though it is tempered by the alcohol. notalush (2661), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Fizzy, hazy golden beer, with moderate, lasting lace - semi-earthy, occasionally musty/musky aroma, w/strong honey-ish sweetness, some banana, strong spices and floral character - typically high, american tripel sweetness - a strong herbal bitterness tries its best to temper this, but the sweetness persists - wild flower character and alcohol warmth arrive late, and the beer dries out a little, as a spicy character couples well with the alcohol - finishes better than it starts, but still falls into the same traps most american tripels do. guyinchicago (526), marengo, Illinois, USA
