Caramel colored head. Aroma of light roasted malt. Flavor is where the blueberry really comes through. Back end flavors of cocoa and bittersweet chocolate. You are left with a mice sweetness. This would make a great dessert beer.

pours black with brown thin head. Chocolate roast and blueberry aromas. Flavor similar dark chocolate, coffee, and blueberry sweetness. Something in the finish has a medicinal quality, however a very interesting decent stout.

Thanks inkubus27. I really like this beer. Aroma is full of roast with a slight hint of blueberry. Pours very black with a hint of tan tinged with dark blue/purple. Flavor is very nice, full of roasted coffee, chocolate and a hint of blueberries. Finish is very tart blueberry followed by black licorice.

Very dark brown (nearly black) with a small chocolate brown head that is totally diminishing. Aroma is about 65% roast, 35% blueberry - first whiffs, the blueberry tartness is very noticeable, but upon further sniffs the chocolate roast is most prevalent. Blueberry is pretty hidden in the flavor, which is largely roasty coffee, nutty grains and green herbally finish. Somewhat light palate. A decent stout, but it seems like the blueberry addition was an afterthought.

Bottle. Poured black with a tan head. Liquid breakfast. Aroma of blueberry pancakes and coffee roast. The flavor finds chocolate and coffee backed with hints of blueberry and a light nuts. Medium to full body. Very nice. (Rating from June ’07)

Bottle probably from pepsican, but maybe from Stine. Thanks to whomever provided this to me! Pours almost black with a diminishing dark brown head. Smells of light blueberry pancakes with brown sugar and roasted malts. Tastes like blueberry pancakes with some nice roasted and burnt malts. Perhaps some brown sugar and chocolate make and appearance too. Has a lingering blueberry flavor that seems to not want to go away. This might be a touch thin and is rather carbonated, but it is nice nonetheless.

3-30-08 bottle shared with lb4lb thanks to demitriustown and emacgee!
Ink black pour with a thin little milk chocolate colored head. Smell is walnuts, pecans, malt, chocolate, and of course, some blueberry. Although, the smell isn’t too heavy on the blueberry at all. Flavor is sweet malt and has some blueberries in there. However, it is a bit watery and not very complex. Mouthfeel is very carbonated and too thin. Overall, it is drinkable, but it isn’t very complex and has too many bubbles and not enough development in my opinion.
