Jan 20, 2006 Pour is a dark, deep brown with a really big frothy chocolaty head. Aroma is strong of blueberry and chocolate. Flavor is burnt grain, coffee and a little less blueberry flavored than the aroma indicated. Mouthfeel is thick and smooth (maybe like chocolate milk). I’m not totally sold on the blueberry... it’s interesting and definitely adds something, but I’m not sure at what cost. Definitely worth trying, probably won’t work it’s way into the regular rotation.

Jan 18, 2006 12 oz bottle 2005 edtion. Dark Brown/ Black pours with a nice brown head that sticks around. Aroma was filled with blueberries with roast malt. Flavor almost as same as the aroma.

Jan 17, 2006 12 oz bottle, via Styles. Black as motor oil pour with a thin covering of a chocolate brown head. Enormous fresh blueberry pie aroma over a dark roasted malt base. Some light coffee and alcohol peeking through. Roasted and burnt malt flavor backed up by fresh blueberries. Coffee and light alcohol in the finish. Thick and full bodied mouthfeel with light fine bubbled carbonation. Probably the most interesting fruited stout I’ve had. You’d think from the aroma that this would be an overly sweet blueberry bomb, but they do an amazing job of maintaining the integrity of the base beer.

Jan 11, 2006 Pitch black. Small brown head. Looks intense. Aroma is big blueberry, roasty chocoffee, malt, and dough. Flavor is the same with a bitter finish. Full, rich, smooth body. Excellent stout.

Jan 9, 2006 (12oz bottle, thanks Pailhead) Used motor oil body topped by small brown head. Aroma is moderately sweet, blueberry, cocoa. Taste is medium sweet, chocolate, blueberry, light roast. Finishes with some roasty coffee, but not particularly bitter. Smooth medium body.

Jan 4, 2006 Bottle. Deep black in color with a nice tan head. Very nice blueberry aroma. Lots of bluberries in the nose. Flavor is malty and fruity. Chocolate and caramel notes. Finish is blueberry like. Medium bodied. Nice beer, Enjoyable.

Jan 4, 2006 Updated: Jan 13, 2008Black with a thick but short lived tan head. I haven’t smelled blueberries this rich since my last IHOP trip. Taste is really full with the fresh berries with some chocolate behind it. Some cigar flavor in there also.

Jan 4, 2006 Thankyou SuIIy for this delicious beer. Pours super super dark. Nose is chocately with hints of blueberries. The taste is like chocalate covered blueberries with a coffee aftertaste. Not very thick either. Very delicious beer.
