Beautiful beer. Pours a Merlot brown/black with some head. Aroma is blueberries, chocolate, coffee, sesame roastiness, and tannins. Finishes dry on the palate - much better than I was expecting. Sweet, but only lightly so. Leaves a great taste in your mouth afterwards.

Thanks to mjames for sharing this,. This one started with lots of promise, with a big blueberry aroma, looking nice in the glass. Then it went downhill, with a cakey texture that seemed like I was eating bad blueberry muffin batter. The first sip was great, and then it became hard to finish after that, and I wasn’t drinking a huge sample size.

Dark color. Smell of malt, chocolate, caramel, blueberries, hops hint of coffee and raspberries. It smells like my all time favorite cereal, Boo Berry. Love the smell. Taste of malt, blueberries, coffee, coco, dark chocolate, copper, hops and a nice dry bitterness at the end. I really enjoyed the smell in this stout! Nice job!

12oz bottle from Binny’s Orland Park singles rack. Pours black with big creamy tan head. Aroma is of blueberry muffins, malt and some chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt and blueberries with touch of vanilla sweetness. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Would be great if they could pack in a little more blueberry flavor.

[Bottle, thanks Guerde] Pours dark brown with a small dark tan head. Aroma is blueberry, roasted malt, coffee, maple syrup and a little alcohol. Taste is blueberry up front which slowly transforms into a charred malt taste that then dominates. The charred taste got to be a little too much after awhile, but still pretty good. Medium-mouthfeel with a fairly long, dry finish. A good and unique beer, but the heavily charred taste just isn’t something I usually like much in my beers.

Pours a dark black with a tiny quickly disapating tan head. Nose is blueberry preserves, caramel and toffee. Flavor fresh blueberries, blueberry pie filling, smokey malt, toast, sweet malt. Mouthfeel is full. I was expecting this to be overwhelming blueberry and was dead wrong. Excellent job!

On tap at ashleys and later had from the bottle. Pours black witha thin brown head. Aroma was of some chocolate and straight blueberries. I didnt think someone could get this fruit of an aroma in a beer. Flavor had a light bitterness followed by some roastiness and maybe a touch of bitter or sourness probably from a little taste of coffee. Good mouthfeel and body. Definitely my fav stout under 5%.

Pours a very dark brown with a small brown layer of foam. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, and blueberries. Flavor is a let down, it seems a little too bitter and leaves a weird roast/chocolate aftertaste.
