A full bodied stout made with all malted barley and blueberry. Flavors of chocolate, roast malt and light blueberry make up the palate with lots of fruity blueberry aroma.

(bottle) Pours black with a dark tan head that rings around the glass. Aroma initially is of blueberry muffin, mixed with some roasted malt. The aroma changes to more coffee upon warming, and then to more molasses/brown sugar. The taste is a nice mixture of blueberry and roasted malt with some coffee present too. Medium mouthfeel.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is definite big on blueberries, but not in the mass produced over sweetened way. It’s got a nice dark chocolate covered blueberry aroma and the malts come through with a nice roasted scent. Appearance is pitch black with a thin tan head that diminishes into a soapy tan film at the top of the glass. Taste is blueberry, roasted malt characteristics, smoke, somewhat sweet but not bad at all. A bit of a caramel taste as well with the chocolate notes intermingled nicely. First sip I didn’t really like it, but as you get into this glass it grows on you. Pretty nice!

Bottle thanks to polomagnifico!
Black with a thin tan head, gone quickly. Nose is heavy roast, oat, chocolate, and very subtle blueberry. Lots ashy roast and chocolate in the flavor, stinging, syrupy presence of fruit. More blueberry in the finish than anywhere else. I like the subtle nose, but the flavor doesn’t blend well and the palate makes for an overall astringent experience.

Dark pour with a brown head. Straight Blueberry nose with some bitter chocolate. Interesting flavor. Like a chocolate/blueberry muffin. Thick and creamy. Much better than expectations.

Thanks tytoanderso. The color was dark brown. The head was very dark brown, creamy, and fizzy. The aroma was strong blueberry and roast, coffee, and chocolate. The flavor was very roasty, dry, coffee, and chocolate. The palate was very carbonated. The finish was roasty.

Giant blueberry aroma. Flavor was big on blueberry, chocolate, maybe a hint of coffee. Slight dry finish. Very good, like your favorite dessert.

Aquired via trade with Styles. As soon as I popped the cap it was instant blueberry and malt aroma and just maybe a touch of smoke. Sort of smells like blueberry pancakes with syrup. Pours black with a faint tan head. Flavor for some reason is quite spicy. Also roasted malts, burnt blueberry. Sure is different.

Black pour with a small tan head. Deep rich blueberry and chocolate aroma with just a light touch of roasted coffee. More rich, but not overpowering, blueberry hits the taste buds first with a nice chocolate and lightly bitter roasted malt finish. A gentle blueberry presence lingers in the mouth well after swallowed. Nice full, if not a touch oily, body. I really enjoy how the blueberry is integrated into the beer so that it compliments the flavor rather than dominating it.
