Big wiff of blueberry but the blueberry is rather subdude in the taste. Medium body. Somewhat of a light fig type sweetness. Only bad thing about this beer is the label. Aroma is blueberries, chocolate, coffee, sesame roastiness, and tannins. Finishes dry on the palate - much better than I was expecting. Sweet, but only lightly so. Leaves a great taste in your mouth afterwards. illinismitty (1800), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Thanks Steve, this has been on my wants list for a long time. Pours dark black with a dissipating brown head. Aroma of fresh blueberries, dark roast, and even some smoke. Initial flavor of blueberry, chocolate and cereal. Middle has a notes of medium roast coffee and smoke. Soft bitter finish, with some faint mineral texture. This beer is nicely balanced, as it is not too sweet or roasty, and the blueberry is not overdone. ChainGangGuy (2597), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Appearance: Pours a plain, unassuming black body with a small tan head.
Smell: Dark roasted malts with a pleasant, clear-cut blueberry scent. Though crammed into one sentence, I assure you it is a really lovely aroma.
Taste: Blueberry fruitiness right out of the game. Some sweet dark malts struggle to keep up. Taste of sugar-crusted chocolate muffin tops. More blueberries for the finish.
Mouthfeel: A bit above medium-bodied. Mild carbonation.
Drinkability: It’s actually pretty nice. The flavors contrast and complement each other quite well. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma was of some chocolate and straight blueberries. I didnt think someone could get this fruit of an aroma in a beer. Flavor had a light bitterness followed by some roastiness and maybe a touch of bitter or sourness probably from a little taste of coffee. Good mouthfeel and body. Definitely my fav stout under 5%. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 8, 2009 Courtesy of TampaBrew. Pours dark brown with dark tan head. The aroma is roasty malts, sweet malts and a truck load of blueberries. The taste is up front sweet blueberry fruitiness moving into sweet malts and highly roasted maltiness. As the experience moves to the finish the blueberry fruit fades a bit to reveal an even roastier malt layer that borders being burnt. As usual, tasty stuff from this brewery.
