Pours black and thick, blueberry definately somewhat natural aroma, and oily roast aroma. Above avrage mouthfeel, almost no head, certainly no lace. A decent dry stout, assisted by some blueberries.

Thanks to Beerdrenched for sharing yet another enjoyable beer. Pours almost black with a dark brown head. Aroma has lots of blueberries and dark chocolate. Medium / light body witha a small amount of carbonation. Taste has roasted malt with dark blueberries. There is also some dark chocolate and tanginess. Finish has roaste and light blueberries and keeps with the chocolate aspects. Very enjoyable fruit beer.

Pitch, PITCH black in colour-like used motor oil. Small brown head that fades very fast. Crazy looking beer-but nice! Aroma of pure blueberry muffins, light chocolate, roasted malt and a small amount of sugars. Medium-bodied; Sharp roasted malt taste up front with blueberries and chocolate lingering behind. Aftertaste shows trailing bitterness from the roasted malt with a light blueberry flavour, a small coffee nod and a stronger dark chocolate (around ~70% cacao) taste. Overall, a decent beer-great to try and neat to look at! I sampled this twelve ounce beer purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 14-November-2004, after about a year or so of holding on to it.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head pf dark brown colored finely sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body was opaque and dark black colored with no carbonation visible due to the opaqueness. The aroma was mildly malted with blueberry notes. The mouth feel was initially smooth with a lingering blueberry licorice finish. The flavor was of blueberries and dark malts.

deep black, small brown head. interesting aroma of coffee and blueberries, plenty of roast evident too. just like the description, surprisingly light palate, but very smooth with lots of roastiness present. very dry, not particularly sweet but still probably good with dessert. less blueberry in the taste than in the nose, but still an interesting experiment nonetheless!

Bottle. Black body with a small dark chocolate brown coloured head. (3+) Surprising amout of sweet blueberry pie-like fruit in the aroma is quite lovely as it preceds a less impressie moderate roasty malt character. The flavour starts with dry roasty malt, with the blueberry of the aroma fading to a distant secondary character. Intriguingly, a bite of a chocolate brownie mid glass seems to bring out the blueberry character of the beer more. Unexpected! Average palate is acceptable but thin for a stout, and just a touch under carbonated for my own liking. 7/4/7/3/15

Wow,that sure is Blueberry in the aromaalong with some grain and a pleasant mustiness, the flavor was Blueberry and Roasted Grain, smooth light texture, the bitterness and blueberry at the end just didn’t seem agreeable to me,but its still well made and I can’t dock it to much
