Commercial Description:
A full bodied stout made with all malted barley and blueberry. Flavors of chocolate, roast malt and light blueberry make up the palate with lots of fruity blueberry aroma.

Bottle. Small brownish creamy head that mostly diminished. Spare lacework. Pitch black color. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, blueberries and roasted malt. Over the palate came mild burned malt, bitter coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and mild alcoholic thick texture. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor. Bitter burned malty finish. 7 / 3 / 8 / 3 / 15

12 oz bottle. Pours deep black color with a beautiful deep dark brown head that unfortunately dissipates rather quickly. Malt and mild jammed blueberry aroma. Flavor is roasted malt and a very subtle blueberry note. Good solid body. Slightly dry finish. Overall a little interesting and original tasting. Pretty enjoyable but nothing too special.

Dark black pour raisin only a slight head. Nose is like sniffing a bottle of blueberry syrup. Thankfully the flavor thats imparted is more subdued. Still a little to sweet for my tastes.

Extremely thick, chewy maltiness. Lots of dark roasted malts, maybe a little too much. Blueberry quality is extremely restrained, it is much more prevalent in the aroma than in the flavor. Slight extract flavor, perhaps they’re using blueberry syrup? But overall, pretty interesting beer. Mine seemed more like PsychProf’s first bottle than his rerate, subdued blueberry quality. Thanks PsychProf!

Tap @ Romans. Black body, dark tan head. Strong blueberry aroma with a roasty chocolate background. Again big blueberry flavor with a good sweet stout backing. Very natural blueberry flavor; good beer.

Deep, dark brown color...completely opaque, with a small beige head. The aroma was full of blueberries...some smoky, roasty tones as well. The flavor was a rather odd (not necessarily bad) mix of sweet/tart blueberries and smoky (mesquite) wood. The feel was pretty thin for this kind of beer...soft on the tongue...wet finish. Thanks Wohlfs!

Bottled: Dark brown coloured. Reddish brown head. Berries, light roastyness, some sweetness. Roast, coffee, berries in the flaovur. Ends on a sweet note.

Pours with a black body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty with a slight blueberry note and a touch of roasty coffee notes. Full bodied and smooth.
