Pours black as midnight with a rich brown head. My first thought is of a blueberry pie crust with traces of chocolate and plenty of dark roasts. Finishes with a lingering bitterness. This brewery knows stouts. wheninhell (486), louisville, Kentucky, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 9, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours black with a small chocolate head. Awesome aromas of chocolate, blueberry, and toffee. The light blueberry flavor was just right, balanced by a heavy malt presence and a tiny bit of hops. stoutlvr (52), Lansing, Michigan, USA

That person is right! I had this at the brewery and it is awesome out of the tap. Blurberry flavor is definitely present with hints of chocolate and smoky bitterness. Great stout! Aroma is quite heavy with blueberry but the taste is not so much so. I do taste a creamy chocolate and coffee. Smooth lingering slightly bitter finish. Very drinkable. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Bottle at the RBSG09 grand tasting. Black with a tan head. Awesome blueberry aroma. The flavor is a dry mix of dark chocolate and blueberries. Medium bodied and smooth. I like how they packed a ton of fruit flavor that perfectly compliments the chocolate without the beer being sweet and sticky. By flavor impact, I guessed this was almost twice the strength. stankenk (130), Maplewood, Minnesota, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Pours a deep black color. The nose consisted of bitter chocolate, coffee, and quite strong in blueberry. It comes across the palate with chocolate, coffee, and subtle hints of blueberry. Finished smooth with a nice stout bitterness. Their was just enough blueberry in this one. The blueberry doesn’t over power the other characteristics of the beer.
