Fruity, hoppy, floral taste with lemon, grapefruit and grassy hops in the finish. Balanced sweetness, slightly soapy. Medium body. Very nice hop character, and retaining balance throughout. Nice one! maeib (3802), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England May 22, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - Evening Star, Brighton. An orange beer with lots of hops all round. Orange marmalade and piney hops mix nicely in a big chewy beer. A classy tasty beer if just a little too heavy in the mouth. albertane (206), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England May 19, 2008 Cask at the King William IV, Nottingham. This pale gold beer really hits the spot; it’s got a nicely fruity malt base with plenty of deeply bitter citrus and pine hops, just as one would expect. It’s full in flavour and rather moreish. Miksu (1143), Jyväskylä, Finland Apr 13, 2008 Cask at Helsinki Beer Festival. Pale golden color with small creamy head. Toffeish, raisiny, lemony and yeasty aroma. Malty, toffeish and hoppy flavor with lemony, raisiny and fruity hops. I expected more american hop aroma and flavor.
