haddonsman (1189), Derby, Derbyshire, England Feb 28, 2007 Cask (gravity) London Drinker Festival 2006. Wonderfully hoppy aroma, grapefruit flavour, assertive citirc finish. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Jun 13, 2006 Cask (gravity dispense), London Drinker Beer Festival, March 2006. Golden amber in colour. Sweetish aroma with plenty of grassy, spicy hops. More citric on the palate, with grapefruit prominent and a fair amount of backbone. Fairly typical of a Dark Star beers but I thought it had just a little less presence than some of their beers. Pretty good though.
