Jun 14, 2008 Swing-top bottle. Super sweet banana, orange, cinnamon, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-brown color with large tan head. Lightly sweet caramel malt, banana, clove flavor. Light body. Not nearly as sweet or heavy as the aroma would lead you to believe. Overall a nice beer.

Dec 14, 2007 A clear brown beer with thin big bubbled off white head. A strong caramel malt with brown sugar candy in aroma. In mouth, roasted nuts and caramel with light coffee and residual burned sugars, and light metallic points. Medium bodied. On tap at the brewery, Oct. 19 2007.

Apr 24, 2007 An excellent dark wheat beer that combines the traditional cloves and bananas with a hint of chocolate. Well balanced and satisfying.

Aug 20, 2006 Bottle. Murky dark brown with a large beige head. Aroma of bananas, cloves, wheat and malts. Same for the taste. Fairly sweet. Quite light, softly carbonated mouthfeel. Dry spicey finish. Very good.

Aug 16, 2006 (swing top bottle) Hazy and murky brown colour with a mid-sized beige foamy head. Sweet, slightly wheat-malty, strong banana-fruity aroma with clove phenols. Moderately sweet flavour; wheat-malty and banana-fruity taste with a clovy spiciness. Dry, sweet and slightly citrusy sour clovy finish. Tastes like a pale Hefeweizen, but is still likeable.
