Draught at the brewpub. The beer was a light caramel brown color. I got a lot of caramel malt in the aroma and flavor. It was a very bock-ish Oktoberfest beer.

Grainy aroma, with some caramel malt in there as well. Flavor is caramel, slight hops, with a grainy finish. Medium bodied, pretty good stuff. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA

Nice sweet malt on the nose with a touch of floral and roasted biscuity sweetness. Nice medium body with a nice dose of the roasted malt and honey like malt sweetness. A solid beer, as I have come to expect from these guys. OSLO (829), Minnesota, USA

Taste is Medium-light mouthfeel. Taste is very similar to the aroma with a lot more of the roasted grain taste and some muted hops. Long finish. My first Das Bierhaus beer, and it was a pretty good one. BDR (2170), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

Caramel and roasted malt flavor with the usual mineral/earthiness from the water that helps make such wonderful beer. Sweet body. On tap at the brewery. JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA

The flavor is similar, with more caramel, roasted malt, and an unusual but good, dry finish. Great thick palate, and the beer appears to be unfiltered, which I like. This Oktoberfest-style Märzen pours a semi-hazy dark golden amber brew with a very thick off-white head that dissolves to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of dark roasted caramel malt, some dried fruity character, a touch of candi sugar and a hint of flowery hops. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium body, caramel malt with some dried fruity flavor. Very little bitterness if any. Finish is smooth, creamy and slightly fruity. Thought this has a little extra alcohol compared to their regular Märzen, it is well hidden in flavor and finish. Well done!
