Aug 14, 2008 Sampler. Cloudy gold, nice lacing. Nice aroma of earthy hops with a bit of grains and lemon as well. Nice solid bitterness, but not too much. Excellent pilsner.

Aug 10, 2008 Yep. This is what a pilsner should be. Unfiltered, ample bitterness, good hoppiness. Served at a little warmer temp than I’d like, but that is about the only negative thing I can say about this beer. World Class within the style. Very nice job Das Bierhaus!

Jul 3, 2008 July 2nd, 2008 Sample platter. A very crisp aroma of straw with a light piney hop. The brew was a medium yellow, almost clear and a small off white head. Slightly sweet with a moderate bitter after taste.

Draught at the brewpub. This is a pilsner?!? That was my reaction the first time I had this beer. The beer was a cloudy gold color with mild carbonation. It had a delicious zesty-wheaty aroma and flavor. There was also a mild sweetness in the flavor. Definitely the best American Pilsener!!

Jan 6, 2008 Thanks skyview for sharing this growler. The beer pours to a hazy pale yellow straw body with a white head. The aroma is buttered biscuits, noble Czech saaz hops. The flavor is simple buttered biscuits, saaz hops. The beer has an average palate but oddly didn’t make me think Pilsener.
