Draught at the brewpub. This is a pilsner?!? That was my reaction the first time I had this beer. The beer was a cloudy gold color with mild carbonation. It had a delicious zesty-wheaty aroma and flavor. There was also a mild sweetness in the flavor. Definitely the best American Pilsener!! 1FastSTi (2580), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA

The beer pours to a hazy pale yellow straw body with a white head. The aroma is buttered biscuits, noble Czech saaz hops. The flavor is simple buttered biscuits, saaz hops. The beer has an average palate but oddly didn’t make me think Pilsener. BBB63 (4271), La Porte, Indiana, USA

The aroma has notes of buttered bread, floral hops, mineral, and a hint of lemon zest. The taste is slightly bread and syrupy sweet with overwhelmed pils herbal hops somewhere in there. The mouth feel is flat and not refreshing like the style should be. Something just is not right with this beer, needs rerate. Ughsmash (4076), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA

Poured hazy paler golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up rather odd pineappley notes upfront along with some butter and lemon rind afterward.. nothing in here really did it for me. The flavor had more pineapple and some bready pils sweetness accented by a light herbal bitterness.. a tad sour at the back-end. Lighter-bodied with lower carbonation.. decent balance.. this was a day-old growler, but I’m guessing that it’s better on tap. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA

Smells funny.. odd hop aroma some odd misplaced funk. average palate. Odd czech hop easy mellow taste some sweet breads.. pretty solid taste. CaptainCougar (5529), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma of fresh, crisp noble hops and lightly sweet pale malt. Starts fairly full for the style with a good mild sweetness and great balance of fresh Saaz hops toward a crisp, very drinkable finish. Definitely one of the best pilsners I’ve had. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Nice biscuity malt, and funky earthy spiciness on the nose. Very full flavored and bodied, with a great sweet malt and definite noble hops. Great long lasting finish.
