harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Jan 28, 2008 Cask handpull at Penderal’s Oak, JDW, London. Gold with thin bubbly white head. It’s a golden bitter with decent citrus finish. Really quite drying on the finish, more than most bitters. Bit of yeast. Good lemony finish SilkTork (3949), Rochester, Kent, England Jan 22, 2008 Wetherspoon Festival, Nov 2007. JDW, Rochester. Not an exciting selection, but I love the idea of having 3 1/3 pints for the same price as a pint, and having the glasses marked with the special marker to show the number of the beer. This is a nice beer with Fuggles and Mount Hood hops. A soft session bitter, very drinkable. Juicy sweet, then a lovely dose of dusty hops in the finish. Chalky dry in the middle. Nice one. DownsouthGav (602), Greater London, England Jan 14, 2008 Cask @ The Mansion, Gipsy Hill ,London. Nose of sulphur, citurs and metal. Pours a light amber colour beer. taste of citrus, grapefruit, some hops and malt. Quite pleasant if a little simple. Bitter and thin in the finish. Not bad.
