Aroma has some light pear, is floral, and possesses some must as well. Flavor is fruity (which ones I can’t identify) faintly grassy, light caramel and a mineral component as well. Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation is appropriate. A simple beer that would be great to drink in the summer. GodOfThunder (874), Orlando, Florida, USA

Solid pale lager with crisp flavors and nothing skunky or offensive about it. Light, easy drinking and still full flavored. Solid, for what its worth. DalzAle (494), Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA

Flavor starts is mostly sweet malts and slightly fruity and lingering on the finish. Not bad, would be a good summer beer. Skyview (4055), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 20, 2009 The first packaged beer from Dave’s Brew Farm arrives in Minnesota. Picked up a 12-pack at Zipps in Minneapolis, MN. Pours a clear golden amber colored brew with a decent white head that has some nice retention and leaves behind a pillowy foam head. Some spotty lacing too. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of apple, some floral and spice hops and a touch of white bread. Taste is medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Flavors include some light apple, golden grain malt, a hint of allspice and some light Mozzarella. Why do all of the sudden have a craving for a Chicago style pizza? Finish is quite balanced with maybe a notch towards the sweet side. Mild bitterness at first and then a smooth aftertaste. Not your typical average macro-made lager and definitely not a lawn-mower beer. I can see this lager satisfy both the craft beer and lager drinking crowd.
