Sep 5, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a hazy copper body with a small white head. Aroma of soapiness, grass, oats, and dry manure from corn grain feed cattle. Flavor of toasted malt, light citrus, mild grassy/floral hops with a bitter finish.

Nov 8, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!). Poured a lighter and slightly cloudy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of grain and toasted malts. Tastes of grain, toasted malts and a light citrus finish. Thin body.

Mar 30, 2007 Bottle thanks to cbkschubert: Pours a clear bright golden with a wispy lacing thin white head. Aroma of mild pale malty grain and a touch of noble hops. Body starts with a faint touch of sweetness before being balanced by a crisp earthy bittering hoppy presence and a clean finish. Very true to style and something that would make for a good transition beer for someone who is used to BMC stuff.

Jun 28, 2009 Bottle courtesy of rustychiles. Pours gold with a rocky white head. Smells of corn, citrus, dry malt, apples. Tastes peppery and spicy with some grassiness and a sweet finish.

Oct 13, 2006 Pours a pale yellow color, no head or lacing. The nose is light and toasty with some malts and a big crispy yeast and hop note. The flavor is sweet and balanced, nice toasty hop body and mouthfeel. A zesty finish and a nice aleish quality in the tail. Very good hoppy lager.

Dec 3, 2007 Thanks to cbkschubert for this one. Pours turbid dark straw with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma is grainy pale malt, hops, some honey. Tastes pale malty, with some mid-palate hopcitrus and finishing honey sweetness. Not a bad lager at all.

Jul 29, 2004 Light gold color. Small white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, with a touch of wood. A medium bodied lager. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are fairly bitter and grapefruity. This beer is more of an ESB or a pale ale than a lager. Nicely balanced. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
