| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 16, 2007 Brew pours a slightly tawny golden color w/ a shallow, semi creamy froth that reduces quickly to a full dusty canopy. Aroma is malty w/ a touch of nuts and no offensive nuances. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. It has a nice velvety feel to it. The first thing I notice is the lack of offensive flavors. Then the hops kick in. This is a well made lager w/ a moderate hop presence that lingers to the finish. Nice and malty w/ a defined nutty character. The finish is bittered nicely w/ fresh, crisp citrus rind. Overall: this brew is refreshing and clean w/ nothing to complain about. I like the hop profile. I like this better than S.A. Boston Lager by far. Now if I can just get the price down. As I read the Pale Lager style profile, this brew doesn’t fit. It’s more like a Pale Ale. Braudog (3779), Dayton, Ohio, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 19, 2006 Bottle from Craig. Seems like a light amber color, clear with a touch of yeast sediment at the bottom. Fair but fast fading white head, decent lacing. Aroma is lightly grainy, moderate toast and lightly floral/herbal hops. Medium to light bodied. Toasted grain and biscuit flavor, lightly dry, herbal hop bitterness that lingers pleasantly perhaps some slight lemon. This is really pretty tasty for what it is. I could have this as a daily drinker and be very happy with it. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

What i thought i had here was a very fresh lager with some great character. lightly cloudy small particulate yellow with a small soapy white head. nose of big grassy/spicy hops fresh and nice! flavors are predominately hoppy with a tinge of pale malt in there. this one cam across not that grainy like most of the style. I really dig this one. under-rated. CharlesDarwin (1864), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 30, 2007 12 Oz Bottle via footy. Somewhat classic pale beer aroma, loaded with edamame, salted peanuts, dusty floor, and lemon cleaner. Blah. Pours a mildly hazed deep gold, tinted nectarine flesh and lined with a rim of fine white soap. Flavor has surprisingly more flavor and texture. Nothing to go crazy about, but there’s plenty of grain sugars, chewy wheat feel, most enjoyably some classic noble hop flavor. Light bitterness. Nibbles of airy alcohols and pale fruit candy. Rides out into a nice crisp finish and smack, littered with cans of almonds. A well done, clean pale lager. Down the bottle some corn stalk and dust settle out, but it seems fitting. Still enjoyable to more noticeable hop flavor. Cletus (5059), Connecticut, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2004 Light gold color. Small white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, with a touch of wood. A medium bodied lager. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are fairly bitter and grapefruity. This beer is more of an ESB or a pale ale than a lager. Nicely balanced. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
