gws57 (988), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Aug 9, 2005 Had this one on draught in Glens Falls, New York. Deep copper color and slightly cloudy with a thick, slowly dissipating head, nose of baked bread, slightly sour in the finish with notes of green apples and green grapes, smooth tasting but the sour threw me off.

willblake (1932), Long Branch, New Jersey, USA May 1, 2005 04.23.05 Nitro tap at TAP NY. This is a rye cream ale? On nitro? Huh. Golden amber with beige nitro head. Creamy body, very thick and nice, surprisingly. Lots of wet, malty graininess. Caramel. It takes a few sips and some temp before I really start to notice the rye. Sharp up front and weedy, makes it somewhat crisp despite the thicker body. Different.
