A Mes rate: barrel at GBBF
Pale lemon yellow colour. Slightly harsh alcohol on the nose with some slight pear and old wood. The flavour is really rather good. Full of faintly sweet pears and incredibly dry. A real moisture killer. Great balance of sweet and ridiculously dry. Good stuff.

@GBBF2008 (Days Cottage Dry Perry, 7.5%). Pale golden colour, no head. Aroma is papery dry pear, some blue cheese and wood. Flavour is quite the same with some quite wine-like notes.

Bag in a box at Rare Breeds BF 08. Badge said Days Cottage Original Farmhouse Perry at 7.5%, but I couldn’t find any other reference to it, so I put it under this one. Pale gold/green. Bit of cheese on aroma. Very dry, almost parching. Decent pear fruit. Sweetish fruit and then really, really dry. Good quality perry.
