Pours clear pale color with an average frothy white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Moderate sweet grainy aroma. Medium body and soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. I would not recommend either of the D.B. Hobbs beers to a freind. BrewDad (2378), Olympia, Washington, USA

Aroma – Lager aroma with lots of malt and very little hops.
Appearance – Golden yellow color, clear and a nice head.
Flavor – This was a light malt flavor with very little hops for flavoring. This was a simple drinking beer.
Palate – Decent Mouthfeel, a good dry finish.
Overall – Not sure what others want from this it was a light lager beer had little flavor but great for a hot day working in the yard. It is a simple mass produced beer for the rednecks in our world.

Very sweet aroma. Grain and malts dominate the flavor. A hint of bitterness. Not the worst pale lager out there. Not too good either. tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Updated: Oct 3, 200812 pack of cans with NachlamSie. Pours a clear yellow with just a touch of a green hue and a reasonable white head. The aroma is faint but slightly sweet and grassy, maybe even a touch of fruitiness. The flavor is pretty weak, but isn’t offensive at all. Some mild malty sweetness, some twang from the carbonation, and a faint touch of papery hops. I’m surprised once in a while by a faint yeasty banana note. This isn’t a well-made beer by any means, but it’s actually drinkable, and combined with the extreme cheapness ($5.99 for 12 at Kroger) I’ll probably end up buying it again. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 11, 2008 12 pack of cans split with Tronraner. Pours a fizzy yellow color with a semblance of a head. It kind of reminds me of Mountain Dew as far as looks go. So, this ties 3 ways for the cheapest beer in the county. It is definitely the most drinkable of the three cheap swills. I can’t say this is good by any means, but it is a surprisingly clean delivery for cheap beer sloshin’. Not a lot of off flavors come out here, just some cheap corny character with a hint at candy bananas. It isn’t overly sweet and doesn’t have that headache inducing metallic twang. If I need something cheap, watery, and low-brow to pound back, I will probably reach for this again. Reid (1092), Salem, Oregon, USA

Typical yellow beer with a nice sized white head.
Very malty aroma,, typical of American macro lager.
Nice malty taste, thin but not over sweet, no discenable hops.
Thin palate, gets a tad watery in the end.
for $5.99 a 12 this aint half bad for Grillin out, like im doing tonight BeerVirgin72 (814), Pataskala, Ohio, USA

Drank straight from the can, cause thats what you do with cheap beer. Nice light flavor of grass, and a pretty decent American lager. Be a good canoeing beer. Cause its cheap and you dont mind when you spill cheap beer in the canoe. Definitely more drinkable than the other mass produced crap. Not something I would want every day of course.
