Bottle from Belmont Station--Poured a hazy, chunky orange-golden body with a fluffy white head. Metallic, nutty, clove and real banana nose. Some bubblegum and skinky sulfur notes. Esters were not as bananay and pronounces as some Bavarian hefes. Got better as beer progressed, but overall, not as exciting or innovative as I had hoped.

Sep 5, 2008 750 ml green bottle poured a clear golden yellow with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of banana, green apple, sultanas, light honey and light straw. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of basnana, green apple, sultana and light straw with a smooth lightly dry fruity fin\ish.

Aug 9, 2008 Updated: Aug 10, 2008750ml bottle. poured a hazy golden orange in color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of bananas, yeasty funkiness, and pretty sweet. Taste of banana flavor runts candys, honey, cloves, and a mild amount of hops. Pretty sweet and fruity overall.

Jul 23, 2008 Pours turbid orange with 2-finger head. Nose is dry florals, malt funk, banana, and honey. Tastes ion the sweet side, with solid banana flavor, some apricot, honey, hops, and slight funk. Better than I thought it might be.

Jul 11, 2008 750ml Bottle: Sweet aroma. Smells of raisins, banana, spices, and a little toffee. Poured amber/orange in color with a large, creamy, dense, white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Full of medium and large particles. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of bananas, cream, fruit, spices, and some toffee. Medium body. Chalky texture. Soft carbonation. Dry, sweet, banana finish.
