Bottle 33cl. @ home.
Clear with medium body particles, a light to medium red orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is raspberry, redcurrants, sweet and acidic. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081117]

Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s hazy orange-golden with a lot of floaties and a slightly pink head. The aroma is both sour and sweet with notes of red and black currant and hints of raspberries. The flavour has sweetness and a light berry-sourness with notes of red and black currant, other berries and malt. Even if it has 7%, it does not feel heavy and it hide the alcohol well.

330ml bottle (Bierkoning, Amsterdam)
Rich orange, fizzy pale head. Sharp tart light berry aroma. Tart berry taste, but not a caricature. A little thin and fizzy, but covers the 7% well.

Bottle, 7%. Sweet fruity aroma, but also somehow dryish, like fermented fruit. Cloudy dark red/orange colour. Small head. Black stuff at the bottom of the bottle. The flavour is fruity, like raspberry but rough. The berries’ sugar has fermented, leaving mostly sourness and yeast notes.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Red-orange hue. Healthy head. Sour and fruity nose, some sugar. Can taste the berries. Blue and boysenberries, even cranberries. Then turns sour quick with some malt flavour. Licorice taste towards the end. Another mad experiment that is known as fruit beer.

Bottle from uto. Cloudy deep amber with thin white head. Aroma of wild berry tums. Not very appetising! Watered down taste of red berries with a hint of wheat. Sweet, but not sickly - just a bit bland. Shocking lack of alcohol in the taste. Boring and lifeless. Surprising considering the rave reviews from friends which prompted the purchase. Maybe a bad bottle?

INteresting why these kind of beers are not easy to fin in Schipol instead Belgians. Anyway, it was very good and nice in every feature. A little perhaps suspicious in origins.
