Hazy nut brown color, steady creamy brownish head. Licorice, anise and fennel in the nose. Medium-bodied. Loads of anise in the flavor. It is Gouden Carolus Christmas on drugs. Otherwise some sourness, malts and yeast. Interesting. bierkoning (6041), La Tropica, Netherlands
