Bottle. Poured amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma had strong alcohol notes with some underlying caramel malt. There were strong alcohol notes as well in the flavor. Beer was very thick on the tongue.

Amber, some pilsner like foam. Fairly uncomplex malty aroma, some hint of alcohol. Very much a ’guld øl’. Strong alcohol, some hop and malt. Not my thing. Medium-thin body, a little fizz. Not my style. Purchased in SuperBrugsen Halmtorvet.

Bottle. Pours a clear, deep amber, with a generous, foamy off-white head. Fairly uninteresting flavor mainly of caramel malts, with alcohol and slightly metallic hops in the background. Very faint malt & hop aroma. Light body, soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel.

Bottled (BB 08/2009). Deep amber color, good beige head. Caramel, grass, some berries in the nose. Flavor is similar, some grass, a bit grainy, caramel malts and berries. Some Scandinavian XMas beers are similar. This is not an ESL.

Bottled. Rubyish amber colour with mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is caramel, wood, mild grassy notes as well as some sweetish sour notes. Flavour is grainy, rather sweet, some distinct alcoholic sweet stinging notes as well as mild toffeish notes.

500 ml bottle. Brownish copper. Clear. Tall thick creamy white head that clings to the glass. Fresh cut grass aroma. Floral and grassy with a note of chestnuts. Soft texture. Nice and rich nutty flavours with a sweetish malt edge. There is also quite a lot of bitterness that lurks in the background, and it balances the sweetness nicely. I quite like this beer. Finishes dry with a bitterness that lingers.

15 July 2009 Rude Strand; pours with nice golden colour and small head. Caramel and malt. A bit sweet for my taste, but what can you expect from a 7.5% beer?
