Distribuited in Italy as Demetra Bock Riserva. Thick white full lasting head. Deep golden cloudy colour. Aroma is malty, fruity (apples, apricots) and light spicy notes. Flavor is malty too with light dried fruity and wooden tones, ending in a dry moderately hoppy finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle, 7.5%. Vinous aroma, rough hops. Cloudy yellow colour, small stable creamy white head. The flavour is mostly peppery, some sweetness which is more sugary than malty. Quite rough maltiness, not very pleasant.

Bottle, thanks MIP. Fruity grainy nose. Cloudy golden with a off-white low layer. Mellow sweet straw malt base, Sugary center, fruit, light ethanol finish. Medium body, slick mouthfeel. Oranges retronasal.

[50 cc bottle from the Italian importer - bottled under the label "Demetra Bock Riserva"]. This is a very clear, slightly opaque, straw yellow bock. Short pillowy head, quickly receding. Aroma is malty with flowers, summer fruits and hay. Taste is balanced, not cloying at all, with a nice bitter aftertaste. Body is light to medium. Goes down like a lager and makes up in drinkability what it may lack in complexity. Quite enjoyable; may not be really true to the style.
