Pours a clear orange gold color with a white head. Aroma is very fruity and mostly orange and some malts. Flavors are odd, a little fruity and spicy, malts, and some herbs. The finish taste is a bit strange and hard to discribe, maybe like some old ripe orange. Good carbonation with a bitter sweet end. Not bad, but different and interesting.

14th August 2008. Hazy amber beer that erupted like vesuvias on opening! Dry and crisp it has such a pronounced fruity note that I had to double check I was not drinking a fruit beer. Very dry finish with a hint of medicinal bitterness. A bit different.

Alcohol aroma. I know it’s only 6%, but it smells just like a tequilla shot. Only a slight alcohol flavor, lots of spice with a little dark fruit. Thick, smoky mouthfeel.

Hazy dark orange pour. Excellent fruit smell. Has hints of champagne, bubble gum, cherry and pineapple. Taste is highly disappointing. Bland taste with elements of champagne. Dry lager finish that does not impress. For such a wonderful nose, it is a horrid let down.

Bottled, 330ml from Hopduvel Warehouse, Ghent. Slightly pink amber with white head. Well I thought that I was drinking a fruit beer here, the aroma is sweet raspberry and the flavour hints at strawberry and particularly sweet. A sweet maltiness pervades and blocks any attempt at hops, very strange.
