There are other brewers that do a much nicer job here, but this is certainly a drinkable wit. Pours a very pale yellow. Looks very much like a Hoegaarden. Strong citrus aroma, very lemony. Fairly bland on the palate. Decent and thirst-quenching, but not an all-time favorite. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 11, 2008 Draft. Very weak in aroma, this pale, hazy yellow beer was rather boring. It had a very light citrusyness to it. Very light in body, it finished rather clean. Beer2000 (1852), Kristiansand, Norway

Aroma is weak fruity/banana with a spicy hint. Flavor is like an anonymous wit, quite boring actually but drinkable. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

Rather sweet banana aroma, a little citrus sting in the tail, but not much. Boring. Jerre (1768), Waregem, Belgium

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 30, 2007 I only barely rescued this from a lemon. YAR! Doesn’t look like a typical Belgian wit--more like a light version of an American wheat. Pale, translucent yellow, no head. Aroma is lemons and some barnyard. Serious Kolsch leanings here. Light bitterness with a faint fruity tang. Interesting for such a pale quaffer, unless the funky elements were accidental--quite possible.
