On tap at Brasserie de Grand Place, Brussels, part of tray of 4. Ruby, chestnut with slight head. Heavy toffee caramel flavours, fruity but quite dull. There is a sicky sweet flavour about it. I wasn’t over impressed with the Brewery, but it was there to do.

On tap at brewpub. Darker body. Much nicer than the others. Nice caramel nose and strong taste. Spicy and really enjoyable. Quite liked this one.

I am not really sure this one was the one I had, they told me it was "the dark" one, and the taste was a little more strong than a normal brune but very nice beer,a little alcoholic too.

From tap at the brewpub as Dark. Pours hazy dark orange with a small and lacing off-white head. Mild spiced and floral yeasty aroma, vague caramelish touch. Flat carbonation mouthfeel. Sweet malt flavoured, light perfumed and vague spiced. Yeasty. Floral and fruity finish. This really looses it on palate and the flavour.

Reddish brown with nice head. Fruity aroma of sour berries, wood and malt. Flavour sweet and sour with sour finish. Good complexity.

Dark red with a medium beige head. Sour aroma with sour cherries, lacto, roasted malt and lacto notes. Flavour had roasted, malt, sour cherries, lacto and woody accents. Finished sour.

tap at Grand Place - Pours dark amber with a thin head and a fairly mild malty aroma. It tastes of sweet caramel malt with a hint of fruit and a little hops in the finish. It’s smooth going down and overall a decent quaff.
