| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 26, 2006 Tap at Bruxellensis. Very nice color, very clear with a light pink head. Much sweeter then I was expecting with just the lightest sourness in the finish. Didn’t quite have the farmy/wild yesty character as much as others, but still had a nice dryness to the finish. bierkoning (6027), La Tropica, Netherlands

Abundant aroma of cherries, cherry pits and oak. Sour flavor compensated by rest sweetness of fresh cherries. Vanilla and oak. Dry out effect in the short aftertaste. Very fruity, but also with complexity. A really lovely young kriek.
@ RBESG Grand Tasting 2009: 2005 version. Has aged perfectly. Jammy with cherry pits and almond. Absolutely delicious. Jukkabro (3008), Tampere, Finland
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2006 Blood-red colored, no head. Cherries, bubble gum and nicely balanced sourness in rich aroma. Flavor is even better: sweet cherries together with strong sourness, very enjoyable and balanced. Medium bodied, fuller than some krieks I’ve had before. harrisoni (6776), Ashford, Kent, England
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 1, 2006 Bottle 09/2005 from Dorstvlegel, Antwerp. Raspberry red colour, no head. Mulberry red actually. Farmyard sour with some cherry. Full in mouth, juicy cherry fruit and raspberry too. Quite pippy. Farmyard aroma is rather good. Vinous aroma. Some raspberry ripple vanilla in mouth. Finish has cherry, raspberry, pippy sourness. Good length. As good as Boon Kriek? No, but still a good kriek with great integrated fruit. sayravai (3729), Helsinki, Finland
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 31, 2006 (Bottled, 0.375l) Opaque, light red wine color with practically no head. Very berryish aroma of slightly sour cherries and hints of anchovies. Very distinctive, very natural, unsweetened cherry flavor - so far the most natural in any kriek I’ve had! Medium-bodied, medium-tart palate with very low carbonation. A truly beautiful, easily drinkable and enjoyable kriek! Ungstrup (15121), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 14, 2006 An unclear dark red beer with a very thin red head. The aroma is strong and totally dominated by cherries, while the flavor has a nice sharp acidity which blends really well with the strong cherry notes.
