Consumed at the Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation, Opstal, May 2006 Intensely sweet, fruity and fresh natural cherry scented nose. Amazingly rich cherries, sweet, fresh tasting everywhere. Sourness is mundane, normal, but still has a nice raw grain component. Very interesting kriekenlambic, better than most I have tried, though still not exceptional. jbrus (4895), Delft, Netherlands

Hazy, red color, no head. Sweet, sour, some cherry in the flavor but not like the aroma, some wheat, in the very finish some extra cherry flavor comes up. Bit harsh vinegar like finish in the very end. anders37 (4792), Malmö, Sweden

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 22, 2009 Bottle (375ml). At MesandSim’s, London May 10 2009). Deep murky ruby pour with a small head. Mouthwatering aroma of sour black cherries, lemon, yeast and a backbone of caramel malt - mostly cherry. Huge sour cherry taste, lemony and funky, bitter, slightly alcoholic, very acidic and that suits me just fine. Sour, lively mouthfeel, long acidic linger - holy crap that was good - stunningly sour and quite complex - everything a kriek should be. Rciesla (3830), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
