Bottle 37 cl. Thought this was a real pearl of a Kriek. Small light fizzy reddish-white head that was quickly goon, as with most Lambic. Muddy looking red color. Spare lacework. Lots of cherry in the aroma. Also notes of vinegar, citrus, hint of leather and some of the Lambic feel as well. Somewhat dry and dusty feel. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sour with lovely fruity sweet flavor. Sour and fresh fruity lingering finish. Wow…..more of De Cam please!!! 15-08-2007

Bottle at Bager (Thanks to Jacob). Murkey dark red - no head. Lots of cherrys, very nice, the sourness is fine and not overwhelming - very soft !!

(Bottled, 0.375l) Opaque, light red wine color with practically no head. Very berryish aroma of slightly sour cherries and hints of anchovies. Very distinctive, very natural, unsweetened cherry flavor - so far the most natural in any kriek I’ve had! Medium-bodied, medium-tart palate with very low carbonation. A truly beautiful, easily drinkable and enjoyable kriek!

37,5 cl bottle at Delirium Cafe. Pours muddy amber with a red hew and creamy off white head. Sour orig. nose of cherries, leather and vague vinegar. Both have a Ribena sweetness but also a nice tart bite. Very complex and drinkable. Ends super dry. Nice.

Light candyish cherry aroma, slightly spongy, almond notes. Cloudy neon red to violet colour, pink head. Good sourness, leading to a fruity middle, lovely fresh. Dry mouthfeel. Almond aftertaste.

375ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Bitter and Sour 2008)
Very dark red, no head. Wild cherries but with some esters I associate with cleaning solution. Interesting combination of sweetness and puckering sourness in the mouth. A full bodied taste, plenty of bitter cherries and tons of old woody esters. However, there’s still some cleaning fluid. Puckers all the way to the finish, which softens to cherries, and alas still carries the cleaning solution theme.

Draft. Ruby colored body with a small pink head. Nose is black cherries, leather, barnyard, litterbox, and wood. Taste is sour cherry, barnyard, leathery hints, and mild wood. Body is light, sour and acidic. Nice dryness to this as well. Finishes with lots of black cherry, mild leather, lemon juice and light earthiness. Very nice!

Blood-red colored, no head. Cherries, bubble gum and nicely balanced sourness in rich aroma. Flavor is even better: sweet cherries together with strong sourness, very enjoyable and balanced. Medium bodied, fuller than some krieks I’ve had before.
