[RBESG, Sheffield]
Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield.
vintage 2005
Pours deep red with a fine pink film head. Aroma has a sh**-load of cherries, a slight touch of sulphur, super tartness. Light almonds. Practically no carbonation giving it a fantastic oily mouthfeel. Starts extremely sweet, like cherry jam. The cherries are just everywhere! Then it turns puckeringly tart. Quite lemony finish. Truly wonderful... mjs (1541), Helsinki, Finland

Quite a sour mouthfeel, yet it remains quite soft. Very good balance, with beautiful tart fruit. Sourness is still ever present. Mads Langtved (2246), Copenhagen K, Denmark
