vintage 2005
Pours deep red with a fine pink film head. Aroma has a sh**-load of cherries, a slight touch of sulphur, super tartness. Light almonds. Practically no carbonation giving it a fantastic oily mouthfeel. Starts extremely sweet, like cherry jam. The cherries are just everywhere! Then it turns puckeringly tart. Quite lemony finish. Truly wonderful...

May 16, 2008 (09/2005 bottle at Pikkulintu on 2008-05-15) Ruby red and cloudy. No head. Cherry and cherry stones in nose. Bit dry palate. Lots of cherries in taste. Sourness in surprisingly low. Really excellent kriek.

Jul 22, 2009 Stratford tasting @ Cletus house. Pours a ruby body with a thin bubbly lacing. Tart cherries, balsamic notes, woody with a light citric or lemon acidity. Very very nice.

Bit hazy deep ruby-redcolor, with a fine pinkinsh head.
Aroma nice cherries, sourness, tartness. Almonds touch.
Medium body.
Taste bit sweet, full cherries, good sour, bit woods.

Feb 24, 2007 Draught@Bruxellensis. Like this a lot. Bloody, with tart cherries and some tomato acidity. Quite a sour mouthfeel, yet it remains quite soft. Very good balance, with beautiful tart fruit. Sourness is still ever present.

Mar 23, 2006 Bottled. Red coloured. Reddish head. Quite acidic cherry taste with notes of sweetness. The beer is extremely pleasant and very natural. This is one of the best fruts I’ve tried.

Oct 4, 2005 Bottled. Dark red colour, minor head. Sour cherry aroma, sour dry cherry in flavour. Kind of bitter sweetish balanced, but finish is clearly kickass sourish.

Sep 1, 2006 Bottle 09/2005 from Dorstvlegel, Antwerp. Raspberry red colour, no head. Mulberry red actually. Farmyard sour with some cherry. Full in mouth, juicy cherry fruit and raspberry too. Quite pippy. Farmyard aroma is rather good. Vinous aroma. Some raspberry ripple vanilla in mouth. Finish has cherry, raspberry, pippy sourness. Good length. As good as Boon Kriek? No, but still a good kriek with great integrated fruit.
