Very nice warm yellow color with copperish glow and with small white head. Expressive aroma’s of sour apples and the crispyness of an New Zealand Savignon blanc like Cloudy Bay. Touches of green aspargues, agrum, undried tobacco plant, Greek Yoghurt, nutmeg and barnyard accents. The taste is sour with some roundings. It has accents of Peache-pit, cinnamon, cardamon, fresh mint, grapefruit-zest, unripe green prunes, apples and wood. Also a honeyed touch but very very dry. Tejas (697), Dallas, Texas, USA

Damn this is sour. Made my eyes twitch. Funky dirty wet dog taste towards the end. If this one gets almost a perfect score, I don’t know if Geuze is for me. I finished it but it was tough. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Opaque orange-tan with low but lasting cover of bright white head that leaves some patchwork lacing as it recedes. Barnyard, rubber, dust, musty citrus fruit, fresh wood flavours - not sure of the bottle date but this seems somehow young. Sweetness balances the funk wonderfully. Very drinkable medium body with fair carbonation that is very soft bubbled in texture. Bottle enjoyed with MartinT, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere for Martin’s ’Bachelor Party’! The Festivities: Cobwebs link the apple sweetness and citrusy exuberance. Funk jives in the background along with some quirky detached sugar. Just an excellent, easy-drinking gueuze.
Transcendence: A visit to the countryside is my petrol of the mind.
JensenTaster (1585), Denmark

Brilliant funky aroma, old cheese, smelly socks, rotting fruit and fresh squeezed oranges. Brilliantly fruity flavour, loads of lemon and orange, with some apple notes too. Finish is citric tart, but not sour. Very refreshing and tasty gueuze.
