Aug 14, 2006 A Mes rate: 37.5cl bottle from ’t Brugs Beertje. Very similar to Girardin Kriek in every way. Right down to the syrupy body. Outstanding tart and sour almost appley finish. Great stuff but not the best. Thick thick syrup for the last pour.

Jul 22, 2006 Bottled 09.2004, so almost two years in the bottle. The cork went off with a bang, and the initial head is huge, almost uncontrollable. It died down quickly. Red colour. Complex citrus and cherry nose with some mustiness. Great fruity flavours, the perfect marriage between the citrussy lambic and cherry. Almond and wood in the finish.Very fizzy. It must be one of the best krieks around.

May 22, 2006 Red in color with a pinkish large head that quickly disapates. Aroma of cherries,tart,acidic and musty. Flavor of sour cherries,musty,acidic and astringetn mouth puckering deliciousness.

May 4, 2006 This lambic ale poured with no head, eliciting a very cherry aroma. The flavor is sour but a little sweet and very very cherry. My drinking partner was given a bottle that was two years older, and I tried a few sips. It was a lot livelier (loud cork pop a much more head) and the flavor had mellowed considerably, balancing the cherry flavor with the yeast flavors. Both versions were excellent - perhaps the best kriek I have had.

Apr 12, 2006 3 years old bottle. Enormous pink head. Lots of yeast in the bottle. Dark reddish unclear body. Strong yeasty aroma, cherry, light alcohol. Strong sour flavour, some cherry sweetness in the finish.

Mar 3, 2006 37.5cl bottle from Dorstvlegel, Antwerp. Probably the most lively bottle I’ve ever opened. The cork bruised my lip as it exploded after I took the wire casing off. "Bang!" indeed Kook. Cloudy blood red with pinkish head. Sour, funk and some cherry. Probably the most lambieky of krieks I’ve had. Love the aroma. Cherry isn’t overpowering. Still has the lemon of a lambic. Will definitely have another
